DANI ANDRADA has put up 525 8a's and harder, mainly around Lleida, being the pioneer making this area the hard core epicentrum in the world.

"There is a fantastic new area in Lleida province called Roc de Galliner/Vall de Canelles. In this valley there is a huge cave just like Santa Linya but with better rock, plus many other superb walls of perfect limestone. The possibilities are immense maybe 20 sectors and 1,000 routes.

I have equipped and climbed a few new routes in the cave but other people such as Marti (de Manresa) and David Gambus are doing most of the work at the moment. This will eventually be one of the best climbing areas in Spain, and I hope to play a big part in its development."
