"Belgians Nico Favresse and Sean Villanueva complete an onsight free ascent of the east face by linking the lower third of the East Pillar route to the upper two-thirds of El Corazon. Nico and Sean climbed and followed each pitch free and onsight, without jumaring, finding difficulties up to 7b. Certainly the most impressive and inspiring ascent of the season. Chapeau!"

Another Belgian in Patagonia

Après la réalisation de Nicolas Favrese et Sean Villanueva au Fitz Roy, c'est au tour de Joos Ilsbroux, accompagné des chiliens Franco Cayupi et Armando Montero de faire des leurs.
Ils ont ainsi profité d'un créneau de beau temps le 19 février dernier pour ouvrir Perdidos en Melimoyu (800 mts, 5.10) sur le Cerro Picacho en Patagonie chilienne.
